LEADERSHIP COACHELLA VALLEY - Identifying and motivating existing and potential community leaders. The program acquaints individuals with community needs and problems while offering alternatives for dealing with them. It provides a forum to meet with present community leaders and be challenged by them to greater community involvement.
LEADERSHIP COACHELLA VALLEY seminars are held one-day-a-month, all day, from October through June. The format includes a combination of presentations, panel discussions and hands-on visits to locales relevant to the day's theme.
The LEADERSHIP COACHELLA VALLEY curriculum focuses on developing and enhancing leadership skills plus providing exposure to a wide range of community issues including:

- Education & Ethnic Diversity
- The Environment
- Economic Development
- Culture & Recreation
- Healthcare & Social Services
- Communications & The Media
- Transportation
Sponsored by six Coachella Valley Chambers of Commerce (Cathedral City, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage) and several local businesses, LEADERSHIP COACHELLA VALLEY is designed to provide the knowledge and perspective which tomorrow's leaders will need to guide our communities through challenging and sometimes difficult times.
Tuition is $850 for the entire program including all materials.
